- So You Want to Publish a Book -- In this 60 minute
lecture, Pat covers the various publishing options open to
authors, discusses the steps involved and the costs associated with
different approaches. $150 plus expenses.
- So You Want to Write a Non-fiction Book -- In this 60
minute lecture, Pat talks about selecting a topic, research,
outlines, editing and writing a non-fiction book. $150 plus
expenses. Information included in this presentation:

- Writing for Business
- The Amazon Whisperer -- In this 60 minute presentation,
Pat demonstrates the many promotional tools available to authors
on Amazon -- from ads to listmanias to Amazon Connect to Amazon
Shorts -- and more. $150 plus expenses.
- Creative Promotional Techniques -- In this 60 minute
talk, Pat covers both online and real world ways to promote
yourself, your book or product, and your business. $150 plus
expenses.
- Original Source Research -- In a 45 minute talk, Pat
discusses techniques involved in collecting information directly
from participants of historical events, using National Archives,
Presidential Libraries, time pertinent videos and audio recordings.
She also covers the tools that she uses.
- This topic can be adjusted based on the interests and/or
level of expertise of the audience
- $150 plus expenses.
- Interviewing Techniques -- In a 45 minute talk, Pat
discusses how to prepare for a meeting, establish trust, record
information and conduct further research afterwards. $150 plus
expenses.
- A Writer's Seminar -- Three hour program that includes
So You Want to Write a Novel or So You Want to Write a
Non-Fiction Book, So You Want to Publish a Book and
Creative Promotional Techniques. The publication and
promotion sections will be slanted to either fiction or non-fiction
depending on request of participants. $40 per person with
minimum of 5 students plus expenses. If 10 students, price
goes to $30 per student plus expenses. At 20, price goes to
$25 per student plus expenses.
- Advanced Writer's Seminar -- Five hour program that
includes Original Source Research, Interviewing Techniques,
So You Want to Write a Novel or So you Want to write a
Non-Fiction Book, So you Want to Publish a Book,
Creative Promotional Techniques, The Amazon Whisperer.
$65 per person with minimum of 5 students plus expenses. If 10
students, price goes to $60 per student plus expenses. At 20,
price goes to $50 plus expenses.
- Personal Coaching -- Pat will analyze a manuscript and
provide author with plot, character, editing, readability advice and
professional contacts. The session will include a written
document and either a face to face meeting or a phone conference
(which can be recorded and provided to client.) $260 plus
expenses.
- "Role" Call (With writing partner, Joyce
Faulkner --
"Role" Call is a special program where Pat and Joyce interview participants in an organizational event,
creates first-person biographies and reads them in a performance
that is a crowd pleaser. Price varies with length of program
