Kathe retired from teaching three years ago when she and her husband moved to Southern California. She hoped to begin writing full time but did not account for the lure of the bells that buzzed in the elementary school across the street from their new home.  She soon found herself volunteering in fourth and fifth grade classrooms as a science teacher. Now, she enjoys both writing and teaching

 

She has published two books. One, TATO, a fantasy adventure for middle grade readers, will be released in November, 2005 from Wings Press at http://www.wings-press.com/. The other, A Promise to Keep, a romantic suspense was published by Double Dragon Publishing, www.double-dragon-ebooks.com  in February, 2005 under the pen name, Ann Durand.
